Hiking to Fusola Hermitage
Short and adventurous hike in an uncontaminated valley that hides the magnificent ruins of a magnificent hermitage. Here lived, in fact, the Blessed Franco Lippi for several years in the second half of the 13th century. The original shelter, carved by the Sienese mystic directly in the solid rock, has been partially used in the following centuries as a mill. The result is an extremely fascinating site shrouded of mystery and wrapped by the woods. In summertime it is possible to freshen up in the clean water of the stream. At the end of the loop, the Romanesque parish church of Corsano enriches the day with an artistic touch thus giving the tour an added value.
